Foi inaugurado em julho de 2011 com o intuito de facilitar a locomo\u00e7\u00e3o dos moradores entre as favelas do complexo e a esta\u00e7\u00e3o de trem de Bonsucesso.\nE vem ganhando status de atra\u00e7\u00e3o tur\u00edstica desde que o telef\u00e9rico passou a funcionar em hor\u00e1rios ampliados, em dezembro do ano passado, deixando de ser somente um meio de transporte para os moradores. De acordo com a Supervia, a perspectiva \u00e9 que, com o in\u00edcio da opera\u00e7\u00e3o plena, o n\u00famero de passageiros transportados chegue a 30 mil por dia.\nCada cabine transporta at\u00e9 10 pessoas, cinco de um lado e cinco do outro.\nO primeiro trecho vai de Bonsucesso at\u00e9 a esta\u00e7\u00e3o Adeus, que fica no topo do morro de mesmo nome. Essa \u00e9 a parte em que o telef\u00e9rico sobe mais, pois ele vai do n\u00edvel da rua at\u00e9 o topo do morro do Adeus.
