{"id":100,"count":2,"description":"Not just any resident of Comendador Soares in Nova Igua\u00e7u, Hosana is the granddaughter of some of the community\u2019s founders. Perhaps it is this connection that makes her feel so close to the community\u2019s culture\u2014but also to its problems. At 17 years old, she is already working for social change as a teacher, reporter and social sciences student at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. She credits teacher training school for helping her mature, especially through the apprenticeships which have given her exposure to diverse people and cultures. In the future, she hopes to inspire more people to take an active role in the social scene of Nova Igua\u00e7u. Hosana Souza participates in the RioOnWatch community journalism course, and her articles appear on RioOnWatch.org thanks to the work of volunteer translators.","link":"https:\/\/rioonwatch.org\/?writer=hosana-souza","name":"Hosana Souza","slug":"hosana-souza","taxonomy":"writer","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/rioonwatch.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/writer\/100","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/rioonwatch.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/writer"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/rioonwatch.org\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/taxonomies\/writer"}],"wp:post_type":[{"href":"https:\/\/rioonwatch.org\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fposts&writer=100"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
