Sara Pilote is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Urban Planning at the University of Montreal, Canada. She is interested in large developing world cities, where she hopes to work in future, developing cities that welcome a range of people, and which increasingly realize the “right to the city.” This passion resulted from opportunities she had to study and travel abroad in Mexico, Cuba, Nicaragua, Peru, Germany, France and more recently Brasil. She is looking forward to returning to Rio in future to work towards a more inclusive city.
